“The Son of Man is ready to be lifted up”.
“The Son of Man is reeady”, ready then,ready always, never unprepared for whatever the next step was to be.
This was a word to me one day lately,and soon after reading it I had to ask someone to do a difficult thing. It was such a joy to find readiness without human preparation.I realized then the joy that our Lord must have been to His Father, and the joy that , in our measure, we too may to be Him.
Often I think we sing and pray a little beyond what we are really prepared to be and do, and sometimes God comes to us and says, Now live wat you sang to Me yesterday, or, Live what you have thaught others, or , Are you willing to do this, not just pray to Me about it?
And the King s servants said unto the King, Behold,Thy servants are ready to do whatsoever our
Lord the King shall appoint.
