LC Chisinau in Republic of Moldova has organized a special event- „I love X* “- with the purpose of unifing different cultures, traditions and people. The students were preparing for a real exchange experience and after that great show, the exchange is waiting for them.
On the 25th of June, in the AISEC Chisinau office, took place a great event called „I love X”. This event was organized by two groups of AIESECers that worked for 2 jobs: „I love Moldova” and „I love Exchange Word”. The preparations lasted for a couple of months and during this period young AIESECers became a real team with the same thoughts, the same purpose and the same wishes. A huge wave of emotions came on them when the show started. A lot of applauses, national moldavian music and bread with salt - that’s how they welcomed the guests.In this national moldavian environment the show had started. The program included all the details about the culture and the cuisine of the following countries: Moldova, Maroco, India and Brasil. A fascinating show about this unbelievable world that we are yet to discover, with explosion of colors like the Brasilian festivals, with a lot of exotics of an incredible country like India and very sexy dances from Marroco. This event was a splash and an opportunity to know other countries better, and the students proved once again that the youth is really open to other cultures, and is not discriminating any of them. The spirit of traveling was in the air, even being at home, in Chisinau. Also young people demonstrated a really great initiative and creativity, a great sence of being a part of other culture and preparing foreign food.

These moments of gathering different traditions are unique and unforgetable. Especially when you know that you’ve invested in it your whole soul and heart.
* X - means the abreviation from the word “exchange”, the opportunity offerd by AIESEC for young people to work abroad and gain international experience in their field of studies.
