Free control panels for Linux hosting
A control panel in web hosting refers to the interface provided by the hosting company for the maintenance and monitoring of the hosted websites. Usually, the customers don’t have any knowledge of Linux and want to get theirs sites up and running.
The free control panels for Linux hosting are cheaper alternatives to the paid solutions like Plesk or cPanel.

AlternC
AlternC is a set of user-friendly mass hosting management software. It is easy to install and based on open-source software only. The software includes an automatic installation and configuration system, and a web-based control panel to manage users accounts and web services (domains, emails, ftp accounts, statistics etc.)
Domain Technologie Control (DTC)
Domain Technologie Control (DTC) is a control panel aiming at commercial hosting. Using a web GUI for the administration and accounting all hosting services, DTC can delegate the task of creating subdomains, email, ssh, database, mailing lists, and FTP accounts to users for the domain names they own.
DTC is also the only control panel that made it to the distributions (it is included in FreeBSD and Debian as of writing), as it uses only packages available in them, surpassing even commercial solutions.
EHCP (Easy Hosting Control Panel)
This control panel only works on Debian/Ubuntu servers. It uses an install script – where everything is done automatically. You can have everything working in minutes, so long as your OS install is clean. FlexCP
FlexCP is an open source web hosting control panel for Unix-like systems that is comparable to CPanel. It allows complete automation for all hosting related tasks such as creating users so they can manage their own email accounts via a highly skinable front end that can be accessed by any web browser. It is comprised of two separate pieces, a back-end daemon and a web front-end. It is developed in PHP and is designed to be portable. It is in large part a rewrite of web://cp.
GNUPanel
GNUPanel is a completely free (GPL) replacement for proprietary web hosting automation software. The administrator can manage a web hosting server, create public and private hosting accounts, accept Paypal, Cuentadigital and Dineromail payments, send messages to users, create redirections, use the integrated support ticket system, control bandwidth, disk space and define policies for accounts suspension.
ISPConfig
ISPConfig is an open source hosting control panel for Linux. ISPConfig is licensed under BSD license. The latest version of ISPConfig was rewritten from scratch to support virtual users and multiple servers.
ispCP (isp Control Panel)
