The results for the 4th annual Black & White Spider Awards 2008 are out.

I was honored with a nomination for the category of Still Life | Amateur.
None of my images did make it to the winners sections, but to see my stuff in the neighborhood of a top professional photographer like LYNDA ELLIOTT, GILES ANGEL or GEORGE APOSTOLIDIS is an ample reward for my first contribution to this contest.
The judging panel for the Black and White Spider awards consists of leading representatives of (among others): Sotheby’s Institute of Art (London), VII Photo Agency (New York), Tate Gallery (London), ILFORD PHOTO (UK), Photo District News (PDN), Photo Life Magazine ( Canada), Artrepco (Zürich), Leica Photo Gallery (São Paulo), Fratelli Alinari Museum (Florence), Studio Magazines (Australia).
