Trade unions support healthy living within Spartakiads
The National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (NCTUM) organized, during September 19-21, 2014, at „Camping” resort of Vadul-lui-Vodă city, the 3rd Spartakiad, in which participated over 650 trade union members of the whole country.
The traditional sport competitions included: volleyball (men/women), mini-football, ping-pong, checkers, chess, Olympic relay race, elongation of rope, Olympic race.
At the official opening of the sport competitions was present the NCTUM’s President Oleg Budza, who greeted the participants in the Spartakiad, wishing them success and courage in getting the podium places.
”Each year, the trade unions promote the healthy living among the employees who activate in different branches of national economy. The organization of NCTUM Spartakiad became a nice tradition, which join generations of syndicalists and contribute to the promotion of the team spirit”, the trade union leader mentioned.
President of the National Olympic Committee Nicolae Juravschi, present at the opening of the NCTUM Spartakiad, specified that the trade unions always promoted the sport and organized sport competitions for its members.
In the result of the evaluation of the athletes performance by a panel of judges, the winner of the 3rd edition of the NCTUM Spartakiad became the team of the Trade Union Federation of Moldova ”SINDLEX”. The 2nd place was won by the team of the Education and Science Trade Union and the 3rd – by the Trade Union of Public Servicers and Goods Production Employees ”SINDINDCOMSERVICE”.
The finalists of the 3rd NCTUM Spartakiad were awarded cups and diplomas of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova and the National Olympic Committee of Republic of Moldova.
