Growing up hundreds of km away from the most inferior type of beach, and thousands of km away from a really nice kind of beach (and by that I mean nothing fancier than the Mediterranean Sea. no surfing. no ocean waves.), I grew up appreciating the seaside very much. Though constantly going on holidays with my family, I always felt the lack of the sand, quiet waves, sound of seagulls; the beach becoming something magical for me.
Barcelona is like honey to my soul and mind. Not only is the architecture is beautiful, people at ease, wine cheap, and food extremely delicious, the beach fulfils that little imperfection most of the nice european cities have. Especially having stayed in the W hotel, Mango guaranteed the epitome of a beautiful view you could get in the Catalan capital.
