Number of children who rested in trade unions’s camps on rise this year

”Moldsindbalneotur” Holding produced Thursday, November 7, 2013, within a meeting, to the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (NCTUM) the balance of the economic-financial activity of children’s camps during the period of January-September 2013, where more than 8 800 children got rehabilitated, which is 1900 children more comparing to the accounting period of the last year.

Ion Pîrgaru, President of ”Moldsindbalneotur” Holding, stated that the majority of children’s number in 2013 is the result of the seating capacity growth in the holiday camps.

„During the period of January-September 2013 in the holiday camps „Perlele Nistrului”, Vadul lui Vodă Camping and „Dumbrava Albă” of Bălţi, which are in the suborder of NCTUM, were created the necessary conditions for children. All camps registered incomes, but the expenses were increased too. However, the Confederation invested funds in order to make possible the activity of some camps during the winter season”, Pîrgaru mentioned.

Heads of the holiday camps appreciated the results of the activity of enterprises for children’s rehabilitation during the summer time of 2013, specifying that the expenditures were justified and directed to development and modernization.

In his turn, Mihail Hîncu, Deputy-President of NCTUM, called the attention of the enterprises’ directors to the correct administration of investments offered by the Confederation and to the increase of the number of children who will rest in these camps during the next year.

So, in this year, at the Rest and Rehabilitation Home „Perlele Nistrului”, a building with a capacity of 220 places was totally repaired. In summer 2012 its capacity was of 280 places, at present the enterprise has 500 places. At Vadul lui Vodă Camping were capitally repaired two buildings and the entrance of another building in which were created 50 additional places.

In all, near 15 700 persons were ministered by the holiday camps of the suborder of National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova.
