Classical recital to save Rosia Montana – Trafalgar Square – 29 Sep 2013
A beautiful performance by Ioana Forna & Francis Gallagher who joined the 7th protest in London to raise awareness of the proposed project in Rosia Montana, one that would create Europe’s biggest open-pit gold mine that uses cyanide leaching. 13.000 tons of cyanide per year are proposed to be used here, this is 13 times the total usage across EU.
