Kyoto is a magical city. We were so impressed, still dream of those beautiful castles and temples. During our 4 day stay we were using bikes all day long. Kyoto is a very quiet place, that’s why cycling is the best option for it. On the first day we visited the Nijo Castle and Imperial Palace. I fell in love with the japanese architecture. The minimalistic interior cleans up your mind and makes you feel very relaxed.
Compared to Osaka which is only one hour away, in Kyoto Sakura was still in full bloom. Though those are just cherry blossoms, the beauty of the japanese flowers is hard to imagine.
