People always ask me (especially on Tumblr) about my life style and diet. Well the truth is, though I can’t live without sweets (chocolate in particular), and I also love pizza, cheese and pasta, my normal regime is very healthy. Why? First of all, since I was a child my mom has only been cooking organic food, and almost never let me eat junk food. Secondly, when I turned 15 or 16, don’t remember for sure, I realized I wanted my body to feel happy from inside, a thing you can’t achieve if you always feel uncomfortable and “heavy” after you’ve eaten something. Moreover, the first indicator of a bad nutrition is our skin, and we don’t want that, do we?

A few days ago I wrote on my Facebook page about starting a one week detox. Since then I’ve received a lot of messages from you guys, asking me about some recipes, so I decided the best way to do that would be to share some of them here.

I adore smoothies, so what a better way to stay healthy can there? This ones is the perfect option for breakfast. Sometimes people don’t undersand how can you stay full with only something to drink. BUT hey, from this one drink your body gets all the vitamins and energy it needs. The best part is that you can use vegetable you don’t like, but by adding something sweet like bananas or apples, you can’t feel the taste. Ok so here is the first recipe I want to share with you.

You will need:

- 1 glass of water
- spinach (preferably baby spinach)
- broccoli
- celery root
- 1 apple
-  1 banana
- 1 lemon
– 2 radishes

In the same order, add water in your blender, spinach, broccoli and celery. After you’ve mixed them, chop the banana, apple and the radishes and add them as well. Squeeze the lemon (I prefer the Citrus Juice Machine for that) and then add the juice in the blender.

Et voila,  your healthy breakfast is ready!

Hope you liked it!
