( Yasya Minochkina dress and shoes )

When two cultures meet, art is born.

Yasya Minochkina is a fascinating young designer from Ukraine. I think her name might be familiar to you from MFW, when I wore the blue coat that you liked so much (see it HERE). This dress has the same retro touch Yasya loves, but besides that, the use of the geometric print on such a feminine dress is very interesting. As a person who appreciates the female aesthetics, I am deeply satisfied by the aspirations of those who try to preserve the true art of being a woman…

To be honest, I had a totally different image of this photo shoot in my head, but I didn’t quite like the result. The place were I wanted the photos to be taken is the famous “red tunnel” of Kyoto, Fushimi Inari Shrine. Unfortunately, the level of difficulty to do is was 100, and I blame for that my inability to set the light… and the lack of a good flash. However, just 100 m from the exit of the tunnel, I found this empty place that somehow charmed me.
