The RCMP has identified a second Canadian from among the bodies of suspected terrorists killed during an al-Qaeda-linked attack at a gas plant in Algeria two months ago.
“This evening, the RCMP is confirming a second Canadian has been identified from human remains of alleged terrorists in the attack at the gas plant,” Sgt. Greg Cox said Saturday.
Last Monday, the RCMP confirmed it had found “Canadian human remains” at the scene of the attack in the Algerian desert, which left almost 40 foreign workers dead.
