Why do we get what we get?
I've been asking myself this question for a while, but I couldn't find an answer; I found a lot of questions instead.
Imagine your life having everything you've always dreamed about, wouldn't it be utterly wonderful?
Life doesn't work like that fortunately for some or unfortunately for others. We, perhaps, get what we deserve or maybe everything is just a random sequence of events. Who knows, probably God is testing our strength and faith in him or maybe fate is just a figment of somebody's imagination.
Even so, why do some poor people become even poorer, and why do some rich become richer? Or why do we love those whom we hate or why does distance separate us from our soul mates? Why do some get beauty, but others don't? Why some don't quite have any talents, but others have lots of them? Why do people without arms learn to play an instrument with their legs, but those who have them are too lazy to press   a button on a remote control?  Is all what we get given to us for a reason? I am trying to find a logical explanation for all the bad things that happen to those that deserve happiness, but it is just like trying to find a corner in a circle. Whether we or somebody else have the power to manage our present and future, I still cannot understand why we get what we get.
