The family of soldier Jeyhun Gubatov, who died at a military unit in Dashkasan region just a couple of days ago, are mourning his sudden and tragic loss. Meantime, soldier’s mother Samira Gubatova claims his son died due to beatings.
Photos of the soldier’s corpse disseminated on social networking websites three days ago, have become a subject to wide discussions and protest. Marks of violence can easily be seen on the soldier’s body, which has caused social network users to think that the soldier died after being beaten.
A hashtag on Twitter was titled “Stop soldier deaths!” and a similar Facebook group was created. Members of this group plan to hold a protest on January 12. More than 7,000 people aim to join the protest.
