An automobile belonging to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bucharest on Sunday hit a young woman aged 19 on a crosswalk in the Romanian capital, judiciary sources report. The driver is a Russian citizen, secretary of the Embassy, according to his diplomatic ID document.
He did not want to be submitted to a blood alcohol test and to provide biologic samples, invoking his diplomatic impunity.
Police will find out whether he really has diplomatic impunity.
The victim is a student from Braila, police sources said.
