Филипе Халсман Philippe Halsman, 1948, Dali Atomicusto achieve more spectacular results from this earlier sitting, in 1948, Dali first suggested inserting dynamite into live ducks. Fortunately Halsman demurred, and instead they devised a scenario to suspend furniture on wires and throw cats and water into the air while Dali jumped into the mix. The shot required twenty-six "takes" before Halsman was satisfied with the result.
