Dorte Nielsen from Denmarkwho for most of the 90's worked as an art director in London. Since moving back to DK, Dorte hasbeen lecturing in creativity and creative thinking at Graphic Arts Institute ofDK. After an analysis of all interviews, I willdare to make a conclusion on the creative people style of life, habits, worketc. It doesn't mean that everyone how wants to become a famous designer or anarchitect should do same things in order to achieve the successes... It isindividual, but knowing their several ,,tricks,, might give someone theinspiration.
So…INSPIRATION Most of them say that ideas can happen anywhere, we should be open minded and absorb the beauty from all over we see it. Don’t avoid it!
- '' I've always found inspiration in the events of ordinary everyday life, everyday journeys to and from work. It is also amazing how inspiring children can be'' ( Rosie Arnold - Creative Director).
- '' I can get inspiration by anything. It could be by sitting on the bus, seeing an interesting face, an interesting output or a poster. Or watching films, musicals or cartoons'' (Mark Denton - Comercial Director).
- ''I find inspiration in all sorts of paces'' (Vibeke Rohland- Textile Designer).
These arethe guys whom I like the most! They are funny and smart!
They have worked at several of London's most prestigious advertising agencies, creating memorable and award winning work for Volkswagen, Adidas, Hynday, The BBC, Levi's, Audi etc, winning awards for Honda, Nike and others!

Look at them what they are doing! :)
These are ordinary answers! But there are some people who get inspired by this way:
Or :))...
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
They say that don't like haveany specific place of work. They couldn't get the right frame of mind stayingin the office and staring to the computer screen.. Yes! A lot of them say thatthe computer is a limitation and they use it just for the jobreproduction.
'' I never watch TV or use the internet'', but '' I use a notebook and pencil every day of my life and I always carry a camera, which is use as a visual dairy''.
''My ideal environment is light, empty and organized'' (IngegerRaman Product&Glassware Designer) ''I try to surround myself with happiness''(Rob Wagemans, Founder of Concret Architects).
'' I never have a routine!'' (Rosie Arnold, Creative Director).'' What I surround myself with depends on what I'm working with. After each project I do a bog clean-up''(Stina Wirsen, Illustrator).
All of the collect different things: starting with tickets ending with cars! All of them keep notebooks, sketchbooks, diaries etc.To get the right frame of mind they change the environment. When they get stuck they let everything and go for a walk or for cycling etc. They read a lot! They have inspiring people!
They have different motivations! But I like very much Ingeger Raman's motivation. She is a famous glassware designer in Sweden. She says: ''PASIONE DRIVES ME! ''Also:
May be you will do it! :)
