20 years ago, on the 27th of August 1991, Moldova became an independent country.Throughout centuries, the population of this country has gone through a lot, the boundaries have moved, the governement, the official language, the law and principles have changed.Today we are here, on the same place once called Bogdania, The Small Valahia or Basarabia, with someterritorial changes, but still here, in our beautiful country Moldova.I have always been really proud to tell the world I am from Moldova, even if it's not known, I am always happyto explain to people I meet where it is situated, what are the languages spoken, what is the capital, and that it owns the biggest wine collection in the world!I am very well aware that it is far not one of the best developed countries if to speak about itsinfrastructure, roads, politics and law, but that isn't people's fault, that is what Government does, that is what we, citizens, want to change so much.
Moldova is who I am, and I am what Moldova is, doesn't matter when, where and under what circumstances,
my parents', grandparends' and grand grandparents' blood is and will always be in my veins. So once again I want to say HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, MOLDOVA and all the Moldovians!!I love my country and will always try to defend it!!
