Continuing my exchange story, i have several important things that i want to say, that i lived and will never forget.
Last time i wrote about how me and my collegues have started our experience, but since than we did some things…besides going out(which happenes often

About the work at the FRRCF. After almost 4 weeks(wooow, time flies) with teens, we understand each other, we play a lot, we talk about important things in their lives, we eat, we are joking. They taught me how to play ping-pong. I forgot how is it to be an adolescent, but thanks to them i recovered the feeling from that period, the joy and the willing to do a lot of things. Though nothing is perfect, i learned that i have to do something to make it closer to the perfection. That is why we started talking about what they want to do in their life. I knew it will be a dfficiult question, but teens surprised me. Most of them knew what they wanted to be. And also, they know that it is not so easy to get into college or university. And one of the reasons they are coming to the center is to achieve some knowledges, to participate in self-developing programms. As i wrote before, they are not so motivated to do something, but i descovered that they are motivated when they are involved in smart and interactive activities, trainings. You have to do something fun and than intelligent. They have to see the link between those 2. If you give them just the fun part, they won’t take you seriously.
Last monday i teached them how to write a radio news and read it corectly. I am not the most professional in this, but at least i am studying that and i tried working with this. And i must say that the teens where very good. It was very exciting to observe that they have so different ways to see and event, to feel it, to argue about it. Of course, they had to read several times the news in order to remember it and read it without mistakes. And the most interesting part for them was when i recorded their voices. They wanted more, and more, and more. I also discovered that you have to engage them in something, so they can come next time or next lesson, or even tomorrow. And that was exactly what i did: i told them that i ahve to work on their voices and they will have the opportunity to listen them if they come next monday. And they did. They were so excited to hear that voices are actually different recorded than when you hear yourself. But also, there was a thing that made me happy: they listened and they realized that they must read more, must talk corectly annnnd… we decided to do on the next day, which was Tuesday, a diction class.
