Carla Deijk, Geerte Cammeraat-Schuman, Ireen and  Nico Ragetli are four  volunteers who served in our Association between April 22 to May 6. They made great efforts to organize many activities for beneficiaries, so they came up with a lot of supplies for activities as a gift. Ireen and Carla made happy the elders with a relaxing special massage called Reiki.

Geerte gave lessons of phytotherapy. She trained beneficiaries, as well as staff members how to use herbs from the garden to strengthen and to maintain health and beauty. She showed us a practical lesson  how to make oil and herbal creams.

Together with Ireen, the beneficiaries have designed and made greeting cards, the method was very special, so all greatly enjoyed it.

Nico has worked in the Association’s garden.

The  grandmothers had the opportunity to cover the stones with natural wool, so  they can use them for healing.

Finally, they all received as a gift, a handmade flower from wool, made by Geerte, Carla and Ireen.

During  these two weeks, they have become true friends, both for beneficiaries and for all staff members. We are looking forward seeing them next year, too!
