I’ve decided to write this post in English even though it is not my native language hoping to reach out international audience through it. Republic of Moldova is a tiny country sandwiched between Romania and Ukraine is believed to be one of the poorest countries in Europe. Ravaged by the poverty and corruption it has generated a mass exodus of labor force throughout the world including myself. The consequences of this are tremendous, thus resulting in many broken lives, divorces all sorts of social problems, prostitution, physiological disorders etc. It is not my aim to cover all these aspects as it is already known thanks to many international reports which can be easily found in the Internet. I do not even seek to describe the spectacular melt down of the former governing communist party thanks to the sacrifices of our young men and women that put out our country in the spot light to the whole world. My concern here is to do my little bit regarding people like myself that have passed or who are still passing through a tough time of integrating back into our community or even worse trying to put their lives together. Mind you, good life comes with a price I bet many of us here have never expected to pay. Some were close to committing suicide, others possibly raped or sold into slavery abroad. It is hard to integrate into European community with our mentality it is even harder to integrate back after being genetically modified on the psycho level by the air of true freedom.
I’ve been there, I know exactly how it feels to be stuck somewhere in between. Here comes the part that motivated me to write this post. The poverty of Moldova and a former communist brand has become a very powerful tool in the hands of some self proclaimed evangelical pastors either denominational or none denominational. Some of them are engaged illegally in brain washing people through their own interpretations of the Bible, even though our laws are very strict in regards of cult’s activity. So planting a church (illegally) some call it an assembly is a piece of cake thus exploiting the word of God to meet their own financial ends. Gabi Hariuc is one of the cult leaders (impostor pastor) that works illigally in Republic of Moldova claiming to have a vision from the Lord to plant a church which he did more than 10 years ago. In fact Gabi has built a fortune by Moldavian standarts having just a few peoploe under his leadership. A true business on human souls exploiting the brand of poverty and comunist past thus receiving substantial funds from abroad. His little assembly has rother become a kind of family businiss than compasion driven for the people. It would not bother me at all if I weren’t a victim of his activity that’s stolen away some of the best years of my life. So who are his potentional victims? The answer is simple, those who feel burdened and seek to build a new life from a new chapter. Those who hunger for the word of God. So this message is addressed to those who sponser imposters like Gabi Hariuc here in Moldova. Are you sure that he is the one he claims to be? Do you really think he cares for the people? Oh yes if it were so Christ would ride into Jerusalim not on the top of the donkey but on a beutiful Arabic horse perhaps. For those interested check out this Ezekiel 34:1-10.
