Sweden=UTAH with no mormons!
I guess my problem is that I don’t make any research of a country before going there. After UTAH, my NEXT destination was SWEDEN!
UTAH! Holy Land …and lots of Mormons. Has strict Laws on Alcohol. You can purchase alcohol only from Liquor Stores. On Sundays it is closed. Substitute products are : LSD, Weed, Cocaine and all this stuff or grab a car and drive to Wyoming.
Still Utah has the lowest per capita consumption of alcohol in the United States.
Sweden! No Alcohol again. The system called System Bolaget. Utah at least doesn’t produce alcohol, Sweden is the creator of Absolut and I bet the highest price for this vodka is still in Sweden. In the shops they sell alcohol not more than 3.2% as well, however the shop assistant has the guts to ask for your id. (NOT KIDDING). Substitute products: well, it still remains alcohol since weed is freaking hard to find and cocaine is way too expensive.It remains only to find some alcohol in the black market in case you woke up on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and you have no supplies in the fridge.
Despite the Swedish Prohibition, the consumption of alcohol in Sweden increased by 30% from 1995 to 2005.
I guess these laws affect differently on these societies. Maybe it is because of the weather, especially how Swedish people love to complain about the weather ALL THE TIMEEE!! Or maybe the Mormon religion has some sort of great influence on the people.
Consume alcohol as much as you like as long as long as you don’t get crazy or drive a car.
