Audrey Hepburn was one of the most elegant actresses in all cinema. She had an unique way of being which transformed her into a fashion icon. Every thing she wore was suddenly transformed into a classy fashion style. Look up the word “classy” in the dictionary, and a picture of her will be staring back at you. Audrey was born in Brussels. Hepburn spent her childhood between Belgium, England and the Netherlands and Germany. From the childhood she traveled a lot and she knew to speak fluently English, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian. When she was 6 years old, her parents divorced. Hepburn was a playful and imaginative child who discovered a passion for ballet by the age of 5, loved to read and was nicknamed “Monkey Puzzle” by her father.
During the wartime, Hepburn suffered from malnutrition, developed acute anemia, respiratory problems. Hepburn, in a retrospective interview, commented, “I have memories. More than once I was at the station seeing trainloads of Jews being transported, seeing all these faces over the top of the wagon. I remember, very sharply, one little boy standing with his parents on the platform, very pale, very blond, wearing a coat that was much too big for him, and he stepped on to the train. I was a child observing a child.”Her childhood memories about war sparked her devotion to UNICEF, an international humanitarian organisation, in her later career. She studied ballet and worked as a model to earn some money. Because of the health problems she had to left ballet and to start singing in musicals. When she was 22 years old, Hepburn was chosen to play the title character in the Broadway play Gigi. Hepburn’s debut on Broadway earned her the Theatre World Award. Three months after the birth of her son, Sean, in 1960, Hepburn began work on Breakfast at Tiffany’s(1961). Hepburn’s high fashion style and sophistication within the film became synonymous with her. She named the role “the jazziest of my career” yet admitted that, “I’m an introvert. Playing the extroverted girl was the hardest thing I ever did.” The little black dress which is worn by Hepburn in the beginning of the film is cited as one of the most iconic items of clothing in the history of the twentieth century and perhaps the most famous little black dress of all time. Audrey Hepburn had very interesting life romances. Two husbands, two children and one romantic affair with a widower after the divorces which made her whole life. She said that her relationship with the man she never married, Robert Wolders, was the happiest time of her life. On 20th of January she died because of the abdominal cancer in her house, in Switzerland. Clean lines, simple yet bold accessories, minimalist palette alla Audrey Hepburn still maintain this personality as a fashion icon. Audrey Hepburn a fost una dintre cele mai elegante actriţe din toata cinematografia. Ea a avut un mod unic de a fi ceea ce a şi transformat-o într-o icoană fashion. Orice haină purtată de ea era deodată transformată într-un stil clasic fashion. Căutaţi cuvîntul „clasic” în dicţionar, şi o poză de-a ei va sta în faţa voastră. Audrey s-a născut în Bruxel. Hepburn şi-a petrecut copilăria între Belgia, Anglia, Olanda şi Germania. Din copilărie ea călătorea foarte mult şi ştia la perfecţie să vorbească limba engleya, germană, franceză, spaniolă şi italiană. Cînd ea avea doar 6 ani, părinţii său au divorţat. Hepburn era un copil jucăuş, cu o imaginaţie bogată. Pasiunea de a fi balerină a descoperit-o la 5 ani, iubea să citească şi avea un pseudonim alcătuit de tatăl său „Maimuţica Puzzle”.

Ea a studiat baletul şi a lucrat ca model pentru a face nişte bani. Din cauza problemelor de sănătate era nevoită să părăsească baletul şi să înceapă cariera ei de actriţă în scenete muzicale. Cînd avea 22 ani, Hepburn a fost aleasă pentru a juca în filmul Gigi de pe Broadway.
Debutul său de pe Broadwaz i-a adus marele premiu Theatre World Award. Trei luni după naşterea primului fiu Sean, în 1960, Hepburn a început să se filmeze în Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961). Stilul nobil şi rafinamentul stilului vestimentar au devenit sinonime cu numele lui Audrey. Ea a numit rolul său din Breakfast at Tiffany’s(1961) ca fiind cel mai strălucit din toată viaţa sa. Rochiţa mică neagră purtată de Hepburn este considerată ca unul dintre cele mai iconice elemente vestimentare şi probabil cea mai cunoscută rochie neagră din toate timpurile. Audrey Hepburn a avut o viaţă personală interesantă. 2 soţi, 2 copii şi o dragoste adevărată cu un văduv, după 2 divorţuri, care a fost cel mai frumos timp din viaţa ei. Deşi nu s-a căsătorit cu bărbatul cu care a locuit timp de 9 ani, s-a simţit cu adevărat fericită. Pe 20 ianuarie, 1993, ea a decedat din cauza cancerului abdominal, în casa ei, în Elveţia. Liniile drepte, accesoriile simple dar nobile, paleta minimalistă a lui Audrey menţin această personalitate ca un fashion icon. Am descoperit multe lucruri despre ea, şi sunt cu adevărat impresionată de toate acţiunile ei, toate vorbele ei, toate fotografiile şi filmele în care s-a filmat. Pot să zic că e un adevărat exemplu pentru mine, fiindcă nu fiecare femeie poate combina dragostea şi profesia, nu fiecare om poate declara că e cu adevărat fericit şi nu fiecare om bogat ajută alţi oameni din suflet, dar nu pentru a fi arătat la ştiri. încît nici o clipă nu te lasă fără dispoziţie sufletească. De ce au trecut atît de repede aceste 2 luni? Bine, să povestesc cîte ceva despre voyage-ul meu…deşi nu prea am vizitat locuri istorice cît am fost în orăşelul provincial Bisceglie, am savurat în schimb din plin apa relaxantă a Mării Adriatice, am avut o experienţă nouă, rămînînd pentru 2 saptămîni absolut singură în ţară străină, mi-am perfecţionat limba, am făcut cunoştinţe noi şi am reîntîlnit mulţi cunoscuţi. M-am delectat cu bucătăria italiană pe care o ador. Îmi place acest meleag, deoarece niciodată nu mă face să mă simt singură, străină, mă detaşează de monotonia zilnică şi probleme. Acolo totul e diferit. Oamenii nu sunt atît de politizaţi şi chinuiţi. Italienii au o lumină aparte, sunt mai pozitivi, ştiu să savureze clipele vieţii…Acum am înţeles că cea mai bună metodă(cel puţin eu aşa consider) pentru a cunoaşte esenţele unui popor este să trăieşti în provincie, căci anume în aceste localităţi se păstrează tradiţiile şi datinele poporului. În Italia totul e într-atît de diferit încît nu am simţit necesitatea de conexiune la Internet…deşi accesam pentru a vorbi cu părticelele scumpe ale sufletului meu care au rămas în Moldova şi Regatul Unit. Italia e o altă dimensiune. Mi-aş dori foarte mult ca oamenii Moldovei să nu mai fie atît de negativi şi să înceapă un trai mult mai bun. Mi-aş dori ca fiecare din NOI să înţeleagă că totul depinde doar de dînsul/a, să ia învăţăminte din 20 de ani de independenţă şi să contribuie la prosperarea acestui meleag prin simplu gînd, că MOLDOVA eşti TU, EU, EL/Ea, noi TOŢI cei care ne-am născut şi locuim aici, dacă tu te respecţi, respectă Patria Ta. Maybe it’s a little bit early to think about winter and i really enjoy this summer, but the designers already showed us their ideas for thenext winter. We are accustomed to wear monotonous colors in winter. But the next winter should be different! There is some time since i have felt in love with green color. Color of safety. Life.
