I can’t think of a better person to write about Steve Jobs’ biography than my husband. He doesn’t just like Apple products – he understand them. Most people (including me) would like the looks of them, or the fact that they’re cool – but my husband would be able to tell you exactly why they’re exceptional. Whether it is the cutting-edge technologies or the innovative design – he gets them. And this is what he has to say about the bestseller. Enjoy!

I flew to the States a few weeks ago, and decided it’s time to read Steve Jobs’ biography by Walter Isaacson. For the entire week that it took me to read the book I stayed at a hotel only an eight minute drive from the Apple headquarters, and a fifteen minute drive from Steve’s home, in Palo Alto.

Seeing the places was an overwhelming experience for me.

I have read my first article about Steve more than twelve years ago, after seeing an ad in a magazine. The ad was for the Power Mac G4 Cube by Apple Computers. What I saw that day turned my world upside down and I decided I wasn’t going to become a programmer after all. In 2005, I moved to South Korea to study Design and for Christmas that year I bought myself a biography of Steve Jobs which I still have.

I have since managed to read a few books on Steve’s life and work, but none as insightful and complete as this one. The book is simply great and you will not regret buying it. It reads like a captivating novel, and I found it extremely difficult to put down.

If you have a few friends who like Apple products, and you’ve wondered what makes them so special – you will find answers on the pages of this book. It will take you through the corridors of the world’s most valuable company and inside the mind of the man who built it.

If, on the other hand, you’re annoyed and sick of your Apple fanboy friends – this book will help you just as much. It will provide you with all the material that proves Steve Jobs was extremely mean to many people, made many stupid decisions and was inconsiderate to others.

In other words, if you have an opinion about Steve – this book will most likely reinforce it.

Lastly, I want to warn you that there is some foul language in the book. I wish there wasn’t, but unfortunately there is. It seems to be a trend…
