Mohammed intră, for the first time, în clasă, la new school.
“What is your name?” întreabă the teacher.
“My name is Mohammed”… răspunde the boy.
“Ești în Australia iar aici nu există Mohammed.”
“From this moment numele tău va fie Bruce,”
After lessons, Mohammed se întoarce at home.
“Cum a fost the first day, Mohammed?” întreaba the mother.
“My name isn’t Mohammed. I am Australian, iar my name is Bruce.
“Ah, ți-e rușine de numele tau, încerci sa-ți renegi parents, moștenirea ta, religia ta? Shame on you.” și l-a bătut.
Apoi l-a chemat pe father său care l-a bătut și mai rau…
The next day, Mohammed se întoarce la school.
The teacher îl vede plin de wounds și îl întreabă:
“What happened Bruce?”
“Doamna, n-o să credeți, dar in two hours după ce am devenit australian, am fost atacat de doi arabi nenorociti! …”
