Interjecţiile sunt nişte exclamaţii scurte ca: Oh!, Um sau Ah!
Ele nu au nici o valoare gramaticală, dar se folosesc destul de des.
Când interjecţiile apar într-o propoziţie, ele nu au nici o legătură gramaticală cu celelalte părţi de propoziţie.
Interjecţia este de obicei urmată de semnul exclamării (!).
