But is a million dollars really enough money to make a person rich these days? In the U.S., a million dollars would definitely make you extremely well-off. But it’s probably not enough money to allow you to quit your job and never work again.

Beren spune: If I won a million dollars, I’d buy a helicopterthat, a couple of new cars, a swimming pool, and a house.
Jason foloseşte forma a doua a modului condiţional pentru a vorbi despre o situaţie ipotetică şi consecinţele acesteia.
Beren nu are un milion de dolari. Situaţia nu este reală.
Dar dacă această situaţie ar fi reală, ar avea aceşti bani, atunci ca rezultat ea ar cumpăra multe lucruri scumpe.
O frază condiţională (forma II) este alcătuită din două propoziţii simple.
Prima propoziţie: If + subiect + trecutul simplu, de exemplu, If I loved her.
A doua propoziţie: subiect + would + verb de exemplu, I would marry her.
Fraza condiţională: If I loved her, I would marry her.
