The XIth edition of the festival “Doua Inimi Gemene” will take place in Chisinau on November 13-15 and will bring together competitors from 12 countries , including China , Romania , Russia, Ukraine , Belarus , Moldova.
In the “Children” category are registered 19 people , and in the “Adult” category – 24 . Almost half of the total number of competitors are from Moldova.
On November 13, the competition will take place among children , and on November 14 – among adults. Both concerts will take place at the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu”.
At the gala concert, that will take place on November 15 at the Concert Hall “Nicolae Sulac”, for the first time in the frame of the festival “Doua Inimi Gemene” will be performed instrumental music composed by Ion Aldea-Teodorovici . The recital will be performed by Mihai Traistariu from Romania .
On November 15 , Doina Aldea-Teodorovici would have turned 55.
These two artists, Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici, created their repertoire dedicated to Romanian spiritual values, banned for decades in Basarabia. They are the ones who have rediscovered Eminescu and glorified Romanian language and sovereignty of Moldova. The couple died on October 30, 1992 following a road accident which took place near Coşereni , 49 kilometers from Bucharest.
