Last week a new edition of the project “Art Interference” was organized in the frame of the exhibition “Hypostases of the man”.
Through the organization of this exhibition it was possible to follow the evolution course of the portrait as an art genre having as a standing point the works of artists from different countries and ages: France, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Russia etc., dated back with XVIth – XXth centuries. The exhibition presented a long trip through the types of this genre, expressing “…the need of a human to fix in a certain way the image he has about himself and about somebody else, or the one is having about him…”.
Music recital was held by the graduates of Music Lyceum “Ciprian Porumbescu”. The program included music of S. Rachmaninoff, G. Faure, Manuel Ponce, C. Saint-Saens, M. Ravel, A. Piazzola, F. Liszt etc.
Wanting to diversify the musical life of Chisinau, young musicians have launched the idea of organizing a series of concerts at the Art Museum, as these fit perfectly the concept of the museum project “Art Interference”.
Exhibited pieces of art, as well as the performed music, presented a real opportunity to discover or rediscover the fine art portraits, but also the art of music. All of this encouraged the soul to acquire forms and the shapes to obtain a heart.
