by Macolaus (for some of my friends that don't YET speak romanian)part I-We are facing today the fact that humanity has been enslaved by its on need of ressources, its lack has doomed us to a more and more contagious belief that we head a catastrophy, due to a soon coming primary energy ressources' exhaution. Did anyone question himself on the origins of that kind of apocaliptic thinking? The most of us didn't, and it's easy to see why. Blak gold...that mysterious substance, found in the deepness of our planet, that has been brought very high in everyone's understanding, has been given a deity rank, has been declared hardly reachable, limited and though expensive... And still it drives our economies, it dictates prices, it determins the cost of our living. Because everything moves thanks to gasoline, or diesel and other derivated oil products. It's the blood of every national economy, except some tribal societies perhaps, lost somewhere in the tropical Africa, or in the Amazon. Would everyone tell today how the world would look like deprived of its primary energy source? That kind of forecasting does not predict happy endings for sure. But the only idea that some economic giants as the United States, China and Russia would starve on oil products lead to think about a bellicose confrontation; the big ones would certainly go to war in order to insure their survival as economical entities at least. No need to bring arguments for that assertion, americans already proved it, Russia did it too. But let's follow the footprints of truth on that issue. Why are oil prices going up and up, threatening the existing world order, condemning poor countries to become even poorer and giving to the rich ones a real opportunity to become even richer? I heared some previsions that oil could shift to the overhelming price of 200$ for a baril in the months to come. Is there any logical foundation in that price increase? Well, the one that every fool already knows is that prices are naturally augmenting when a product becomes rare, so, in order to balance offer and demand, producers ought to operate those price adjustments. Ok, but how natural is the oil supply becoming precarious? We are told that petroleum was formed millions of years ago from degraded fossil animals. Can you just imagine what a huge number of animals would have been needed to form those huge huge amounts of petroleum already being extracted from earth. And how did those animals get to 5 and more kilometers underground and how did they die so fast and altogether, in a same place to create uniform and unified layers of actual petroleum. "Peak-oil" and "fossil-formed petroleum" scientists say crude oil was formed millions of years ago, from those dead and burried animals. And still, recently, petroleum was found undersea in the off-shores of Brazil. The fact is there was found a vast oilfield not to deep under the sea ground; calculations lead to the conclusion those layers are some 20 000 years old. Now, how do you explain oil formation in such a short time. All facts united, it has been proved that oil in that area hasn't biogenic origins. However, it can supply 1,8 millions oil barils per day and cover almost 100% Brazil's needs. It is commonly accepted that petroleum, at least in that case (it would be logical to apply that to all oil reserves) is seeping in a upward direction from sedimentary layers below, and fills the gaps in the upper strata. Oil is being created in the earth's mantle, containing carbohiydrates that combine with other minerals under great pressure and heat, transforming gradually in the crude oil, that is seeping slowly upwards, replenishing empty layers in the earth's crust. It is a theory widely spread in Russia and commonly recognized by independent and truthseeking scientist all over the world.-Doubts on biogenic origins of coal, oil and natural gas - started to have some russian scientists. They believed that its abiogenic provenience seems more realistic and though sealed a hypothesis containing those convitions. One of them was Dmitri Mendeleev, a brilliant scientist whose periodic table was established theoretically in a time when no electronic micriscopes were known, and via the only deepness of his theoretical thinking, Mendeleev miracuosly established a powerfool tool still in use today. With his contemporary french colleague Marcellin Berthelot, Mendeleev spoke about several ways of the abiogenic formation of the petroleum, emphasising the one about ascending carbon-bearing fluids detached from the mantle. The presence of life in some primitive and crude forms can be explained by several termophile bacteria living in the earth's crust and acting as biomarkers along research on petroleum.-And no matter how much they tried, scientists never managed to originate oil in laboratory conditions out of organic material...-(to be continued)
