Several police officers of the separatist region of Transnistria seemed disturbed by the Moldovan flag waving in Corjova village on Saturday, the place where exactly 21 years ago started the war between the Moldovan and Russian forces over the secessionist region.(http://saccsivdotcom.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/on-september-16-moldova-require-union-with-romania/)
Dozens of people gathered in the village to commemorate the tragic event. They have installed a big Moldovan flag but the separatist militia tried to put it down intimidating the people. Corjova is an unstable village located at the so-called border between Moldova and its breakaway region. While the village is being controlled by the Moldovan authorities, the Transnistrian leadership pretends that Corjova belongs to them.
