THE autumn/winter 2013-14 shows have got off to a very stylish start, meaning there's a whole new host of make-up ideas to take note of for the new season.
Kicking off in New York, we'll be taking you backstage at the biggest fashion week shows to see the very best looks close up - from the indigo metallic eyes at Jason Wu to the clever contouring and flawless complexions at Victoria Beckham.
Jason WuA purple liner was first used to define the eyes.
Secondly, a metallic, indigo pigment was used to create dramatic smoky eyes.
The make-up was winged at the corners of the eyes, for a feline look.
Several coats of mascara finished the look, with a little peach blush on the cheeks.
Rag & BoneBlack liner was drawn onto the crease of models' eye lids for a Sixties-inspired beauty.
The look was otherwise pared-back, save for several coats of black mascara.
Alexander WangFlawless complexions, subtle metallic shadow and very precisely lined eyes gave models a sleek modernity.
AltuzarraGrey shadow above the eyes and burgundy shadow beneath them created a "bruised" smoky eye.
Victoria BeckhamModels' skin and eyes were contoured in shades of beige and nude.
The finished look was minimal but polished.
Derek LamThe beauty look was described as "Minimal Urban Hippie"
Lips were stained with burgundy, whilst a dab of pale metallic shadow on the eyes lent an ethereal prettiness.
Diane von Furstenberg Flawless complexions were offset by matte magenta lips.
Taken from British Vogue's article.In my opinion, each make-up is really beautiful. Anyway, my favourite is the last one, from Diane von Furstenberg. I like how the lipstick plays with her eyes and hair, gorgeous contrast.
I also like the make-up from Jason Wu. It looks wonderful on Jourdan Dunn's skin. I think it is for an evening but the make-up from DVF is more casual. Tell me, please, what is your opinion?
