After the Latvian final Eirodziesma, the audience decided to send to Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade the Pirates. To the Super Final were sent Andris Erglis, Pirates of the sea and Aisha. After the second round of voting, the Pirates were chosen to represent Latvia. Aleksandra Kurusova, Alexandra Kurusova and Janis Vaišla are the pirates. Second place was for Aisha and third came Andris Erglis.
