Ukrainian artisan goodies

Being here in Bukovel, we found some time to go shopping at the local market where we found some fantastic ukrainian goodies. There were lots of dresses with embroideries, weaved blankets, lots of hand-made jewelries and knitted socks. Everything at the market looked very traditional and colored. I couldn’t stand and bought a pair of these colored knitted socks which I can’t wait to wear with a pair of boots back at home. I also bought three hand-made necklaces, that will go perfectly with a white shirt.

[RO] Fiind în Bukevol, nu am ezitat să mergem la tîrgul local de artizanat, unde am găsit o mulțime de bunătăți ucrainești. Erau o grămadă de rochii cu broderii pe ele, ciorapi colorați împletiți, tot felul de bijuterii hand-made, genți din piele lucrate manual, papuci de cameră și cojoace tradiționale ucrainești. Mi-am luat o pereche de ciorapi împletiți, care sunt foarte groși și pe care abia aștept să-i port cu o pereche de bocanci cînd ajung acasă. Colierele hand-made, care sunt făcute din basmaua tradițională ucrainească sunt pur și simplu fantastice. Nu m-am putut abține și mi-am luat trei bucăți. Prietenele mele își căutau și cîte un cojoc, care sunt foarte deosebite, însă nu și-au găsit mărimi.
