Spring/Summer 2015 #LFW Favourites
Playing with proportions and balancing between masculine and feminine, Paul Smith brings another perfect collection to look forward to for the next Spring Summer. It’s that sheer detail, deep v neck, and hints of silk that sophisticate the quite simple and straight silhouette. The first thing I noticed at the show was the backpack (you can only see the front strap here, sorry!), which has been a piece on my “wardrobe musts” list for a while, after the perfect and ridiculously expensive the Row ones.
It wasn’t till the last minute that Topshop Russia asked me to attend the show as their representer, so I agreed with no hesitations, since Topshop is always the fun show during London Fashion Week. I mean, what else do you expect when you put Cara on the catwalk? Obviously, she’s gonna make a big entrance and a very playful finale, sending air kisses to the rows of fans and making us crave more Delevingne effect. But when the collection is as colourful and girlish as Topshop, you kind of enter that spring mood on your own. Add some colourful sandals, and you’re perfect for your first dance night in the park…
Well. I need to comment something. I mean, I need to, it’s one of my absolute favourites from LFW, so I should. Ok, this is Tom Ford, I think that says it all. Stockings, camo, leather fringe, #freethenipple moments, everything is undeniable glamour, because Tom Ford is the modern glamour.
Burberry surprised everyone with the rainbow installations, and also didn’t fail to impress us with yet another pretty collection. I loved how the key tulle dresses, quite sensual on their own, were styled with trainers, sandals and jackets on top in order to create a very relaxed spring outfit.
Absolute magic, the romantic dream brought to life and illustrated in the beautiful gowns by Marchesa. From the models’ hair to the soft lace and floral prints, every single detail in the collection makes it the ultimate bohemian glamour.
